Super producer Dr. Dre is reportedly attempting to hang onto as a lot of that challenging eaed cash as possible by seeking tax shelter in Ireland. Not too long ago named the highest paid musician of 2012, Dr Dre beats has based three of his companies out of Ireland as a way to aid reduce tax liability.

 

The Irish Examiner reports that the three firms are situated in Clonakilty, County Cork, with an overseeing business called Mahony Doelly, which permits him to make the most of the tax breaks of Ireland,low corporate rate.

 

Beats Electronics, LLC is a producer of audio products and gear headquartered in Santa Monica, Califoia. The company was founded by rapper and hip-hop producer Andre "Dr. Dre" Young and Interscope-Geffen-A&M Records chairman Jimmy Iovine, and primarily produces items under the brand Beats by Dr. Dre. The firm has also licensed audio technology to other businesses for use in its own products, and also acquired MOG in 2012 to expand into the online music market.

From 2009 to 2012, its merchandise were exclusively manufactured by the consumer electronics firm Monster Cable. Following the expiration of its contract, Beats began to self-manufacture its goods.
