Technics RP-DH1250 Pro - DJ Headphones

The Headphones are primarily targeted towards Music Producers and Electronic Dance Music Specialists. You can find their predecessors, the RP-DH1200's endorsed and used by DJ Suketu out here in India. As such this is the Rolls-Royce of DJ Headphones. That certainly is an appropriate analogy considering the first thing that strikes you is the traditional shiny Silver large sized metallic speaker housing that guards the mammoth 50mm HD Drivers. Again, the extra large leather ear pads, and the swivel ear cups and extra durable build quality are great for the road. 

Amongst our favorite features aren't on the Headphone, but rather on the Headphone Cable. The RP-DJ1250's come with detachable cables, and there are 2 options to choose from. The first is the traditional Coiled - Cable that serves as the main workhorse, and can be securely detached and fastened from the Headphone at any point of time. The other on the other hand comes with in-line microphone and 3 button remote controller specifically made for the iPhone, iPad and iOS devices, which are a kind of reawakening of DJ Headphones to the phenomenal use of Smartphones and Tablets in Music Production. On the other hand, they are extremely handy to listen to your music when not performing on your iPhone and iPad, now that you can pick up and drop calls right from your Headphone! Phenomenal stuff for a Pro-DJ Production Headphone. 

Again, on the technical front, the Headphones can really pack a punch with their 50mm drivers, and wide Frequency Response from 5Hz - 30kHz. Their maximum input has been significantly beefed up to 3,500mW, which is an t incredible piece of product development and audio engineering. 

Prices at a slightly higher price that the DJ1205s, at MRP Rs. 14,999 / - these certainly dont seem very pricey for the major upgrades they have received. We would definitely hail these as the best DJ Headphones out there in India by a long shot.
